Amarok 2 and MySQL

A few of you might have read about Amarok 2 requiering the user to set up a MySQL server. This is not true. For more information please read this blog entry.

More than that, you can not use an external DB anymore, like i used a existing PotgreSQL-Server

That is true. In one of the next versions it will be possible to connect to an external MySQL db again though.
