If this is a good idea we can actually start to think about more detailed specifications for what we need.

		<description>I had to move away from Kmail as there are two outstanding bugs that prevent me from using it in my workflow. Thunderbird has these features as an extension:

The Thunderbird extension which provides these features can be found here (may help with some ideas):
