looking for an apartment in Berlin

Filed under: PlanetKDE — Lydia at 11:59 pm on Thursday, February 16, 2012

I’ll start at a new job next month (more about that later) and am moving to Berlin. I’m looking for an apartment. If you know of a nice place please let me know.

I’m looking for:

  • cozy, 2 rooms, kitchen, bathroom (preferably with bathtub)
  • reasonably easy/quick to get to Friedrichsstr.
  • moving in April 1st or a bit earlier

Would 30 min with the S-Bahn to Friedrichstraße be okay for you? If so, you have it far more easy to find something.

Its quite hard to find something in the center of the city, because many people want to live there. So, watching for something within S-Bahn range would be a good idea.

I’d prefer a short commute obviously but that’s also ok.

I have been working for 1.5 years at Friedrichstrasse/Unter den Linden (Lindencorso). Even though I don’t have an appartment for rent, send me an email, and I can tell you a little about the area, public transport (incl. construction work) etc.
